 | Minnesota Loses Harry Agganis Tuesday, April 14th, 1964: The Minnesota Twins will have to make do without the services of left fielder Harry Agganis for a while. He was injured running the bases today in a game against New York (A) and suffered a strained hip muscle. Nevertheless, team officials say the injury isn't too serious and we should see Agganis 100% healthy within 5-6 months.
Thus far this season in 6 games Agganis is batting .182 with no home runs, 1 RBIs and 2 runs scored. He has 2 hits in 11 at-bats. | |
